About the Company

mShopper™ began with a dream in early 2005. While out traveling in San Francisco, David Gould had a random thought pop into his head - people are addicted to their cell phones almost as much as they are addicted to shopping. Why not use the former to make the latter easier and cheaper?

While such an occurrence is not atypical for the attention-challenged Mr. Gould, this idea stuck. Still, starting a new business (Mr. Gould's third) was the last thing on his mind. A new wife, a pending baby, and a diminishing savings account all pointed to a more traditional corporate career (ughhh).

Alas, nothing in Mr. Gould's life has ever been traditional, so a mere nine months later, and with much support and encouragement from his wife and soul-mate Heidi, Mr. Gould's vision has given birth to this new company, brought together a team of talented colleagues and professionals, inspired more than a dozen investors (of whom Mr. Gould is eternally thankful) and recruited hundreds of quality merchants, all working to change the way people shop!
